All rayon based graphite yarns are made from rayon technical filaments

The precursor first must be woven from viscose yarn into narrow UD fabric, next step is carbonization and graphitation of narrow fabric

Final step is breaking the UD fabric and getting the yarn on spool

For comparison: PAN-CF tow is made direclty by carbonization of precursor
